About Itex Management
Based in Port Arthur, Texas, 90 miles Southeast of Houston, Itex Management is the real estate services arm of The Itex Group. The Itex Group specialize in development, investment, and management. Itex Management provides a full range of services to its partners and owners. Our goal is to create value and maximize revenue for our partners. Services include investment analysis, property management, asset management, development, acquisitions/dispositions, construction supervision, leasing/marketing, accounting, and REO/Receivership.

- Itex Partners: Private real estate investor focused on value-oriented acquisitions and repositioning of properties.
- Itex Affordable: Development, Construction and Management of Section 42 Low-income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) properties using a variety of financing sources such as LIHTC, HOME funds and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
- Itex Apartment Preservation: Preservation and Management of Section 8 and USDA properties using a variety of financing sources such as Section 42 Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), HUD's Mark-to-Market, Green Retrofit Program, and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
- Itex Historic Partners: Preservation and management of Historic commercial properties using a Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits and other soft financing methods.

History
Originally founded in 1981 as Park Central Management, Inc, Itex Management began in 2002 when K.T. (Ike) Akbari acquired the company. Mr. Akbari joined Park Central Management in 1986. He worked his way through the ranks and became the Vice President in charge Property Supervision in 1992. He used his experience with the Park Central Management to acquire the company in 2002. Since 2002, Itex Management and the Itex Group have grown to nearly 2600 units under management.
