Leadership

K.T. (Ike) Akbari, President

Ike is a graduate of Lamar University and Tehran University. He began at Park Central Management, Inc in 1978 and eventually purchased the company in 2004 and changed the name to Itex Property Management. Ike has extensive experience in HUD, Section 8, Housing Tax Credit and Conventional management.

Chris Akbari, Vice President / Director of Operations

Chris is a graduate of Lamar University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. Chris joined Itex in September of 2005. Prior to that he worked with C & I Technologies as a networking and business process specialist.

Juliana Jenny, Office Manager / Human Resources

Juliana joined the company in 1983 under Park Central Management, Inc. She has served as Assistant Secretary for 8 years, Accounts Payable clerk for 8 years and Office Manager / Human Resources for 11 years. She is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Chenier Business College.

Andy Barclay, Investment Manager

Andy is a graduate of Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a Master's Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate. Mr. Barclay joined Itex in August 2010, after working as an independent consultant in the commercial real estate field for the past 11 years. Prior to this, Mr. Barclay was a Senior Analyst within the Tax Division of Arthur Andersen, LLC. Mr. Barclay is a member of the Society of Texas A&M Real Estate Professionals.

Kayla Marcus, Property Accountant

Kayla joined Itex in August 2010 after an almost five year career in business management. Ms. Marcus graduated from Lamar University in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Immediately after graduating college, Kayla gained valuable experience as the Administrative Assistant for a land surveying company then later furthered her career as the Financial Coordinator for a local non-profit organization. Now, working as our property accountant, Kayla hopes to further her success in the business world at an early age.

Cindy Moreno, Property Supervisor

Cindy has been employed by Itex Property Management since 1990. She has a total of 25 years in the property management field. Cindy is a Certified Apartment Manager, National Affordable Housing Professional, and a Certified Profesional of Occupancy. She works closely with Southwest Housing Compliance Corporation, Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Kelli Ardoin, Assistant Property Supervisor

Kelli was onboard when Itex when they took over the company in 2004. She has worked with them since 1993 starting out as an assistant manager and working her way to Manager and in 2010 she became the Assistant Property Supervisor. Mrs. Ardoin works with HUD, Tax Credit, and Conventional Properties, and has been a Certified Apartment Manager since 2000.
